Job Description

Project Manager – Columbus, Ohio

A well-established real estate development and construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of multifamily construction projects in Columbus, Ohio. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who can manage project timelines, budgets, and subcontractors while ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Lead project meetings, provide progress updates, and coordinate with ownership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and project specifications.
  • Review and process RFIs, change orders, submittals, and other project documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in multifamily or commercial construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
