Job Description
A prominent arts organization is seeking a temp-to-hire Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships to join their Executive Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic marketing, brand awareness, membership growth, and digital marketing.
Schedule: On-site five days per week
Salary: $110/hr. while contract, converting around $200K once permanent
Hours: 9am – 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the President & CEO, serving as a critical member of the leadership team.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand recognition, driving membership growth, boosting visitor engagement, ticket sales, and audience interaction with content.
- Supervise and direct marketing efforts for various events, programs, public exhibitions, industry festivals, and sponsorship campaigns.
- Lead a diverse team, including senior creative and marketing managers, digital strategy experts, and external agencies focused on advertising and creative services.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, social media outreach, and the organization’s online presence.
- Create and execute integrated, multi-platform digital marketing strategies, monitor performance metrics, and use data insights to optimize ongoing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to craft comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at growing the membership base, increasing event attendance, and improving content viewership.
- Use advanced AI technologies to develop innovative marketing solutions that engage customers and promote business growth.
- Safeguard the organization’s brand integrity across all digital and offline platforms, both locally and internationally.
Requirements:
- Over 15 years of experience in senior marketing positions within industries such as media, entertainment, or sports.
- Proven success in designing and executing marketing strategies that align with revenue generation goals.
- Expertise in utilizing AI tools and technologies to create effective marketing campaigns.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a history of building and managing successful, high-profile brands.
- Ability to foster collaboration, build consensus, and influence key stakeholders to drive business objectives.
- Dynamic, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to perform well in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience engaging executives, corporate partners, and board members.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities with a client-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel for events and work outside of regular hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (advanced degrees are an asset).
