Superintendent – Columbus, Ohio
A well-established general contractor in Columbus, Ohio, is looking for an experienced Superintendent to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a variety of commercial projects, ensuring quality execution, schedule adherence, and site safety.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to meet project deadlines.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and material deliveries.
- Proactively identify and resolve job site challenges to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction technology, scheduling software, and reporting tools.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site logistics effectively.
