Job Title: Patient Liaison/Patient Recruiter
Full time. Patient Liaison. On-site – focus is patient recruitment and managing social media for clinical trial recruitment and site engagement.
The Patient Liaison is responsible for supporting onsite patient recruitment efforts by
conducting pre-qualification, pre-screening, and scheduling activities to ensure a smooth and efficient enrollment process and manage social media.
Looking for someone with clinical research…ideally patient recruitment experience. If they don't have that, healthcare call center experience and/or healthcare outreach experience. Someone that would be comfortable on the phone with a decent call volume and someone who is experienced in social media engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
1. Patient Recruitment:
· Develop and implement patient recruitment strategies for clinical trials.
· Screen and recruit potential patients, ensuring they meet eligibility criteria.
· Communicate study protocols, procedures, and patient rights to potential participants.
· Maintain a confidential database of patient information and track recruitment progress.
· Build and maintain relationships with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
2. Social Media Management:
· Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote clinical trials and engage potential participants.
· Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
· Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels.
· Analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven improvements.
· Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to enhance online presence
Education:
Associate's/bachelor’s degree AND Medical Background is a must.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with computer applications such as email, electronic health records, and basic applications.
- Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and have basic math proficiency.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed listening skills and the ability to work well alone as well as in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changes in workloads and priorities.
- Ability to be professional, respectful of others, self-motivated, and exemplify a strong work ethic.
- Must possess a high degree of honesty and dependability.
- The ability to work under minimal supervision, identify problems and help find solutions.
