Logistics Clerk (Shipping/Receiving)
This position is responsible for recording and coordinating the flow of work and materials between departments, examining orders for goods, and preparing IT products and equipment to ship. Requires onsite support to fulfil duties.
- Handle the receipt, distribution, tracking, reconciliation, and audit control of all equipment. Monitor shipping and receiving, stock locations, inventory control and all related activities in regard to all consumable, repairable and serialized parts.
- Process inventory related items through the established warehouse management system such as receiving logs, stock transfers, receiving discrepancies, defectives and obsoletes while maintaining the accuracy of the physical inventory and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Track and update warehouse and inventory movements, track and update special project inventories such as new acquisitions, refresh/field upgrades, branch de-installs, branch inventories and inventory cycle counts.
- Accountable for all inventory results at main warehouse, sub-stock, van-stock and all vendor managed sites with client assets in all locations specific to region. Maintain warehouse inventory organization both physically and in warehouse management system. In all cases utilize the warehouse management system to record all movements of parts.
- Replenishment of parts to the Merge Center and national FSLs.
- Support all projects and acquisitions with direction from management.
- Ensure capturing of vendor manufacturer serial number and update warehouse management system. Process all products within 24 hours of receipt from the merge center
- General maintenance of warehouse facility including cleanliness, and the orderly appearance of the parts and equipment. Run all Logistics reports required Daily,
High School or GED
Minimum two years of experience with inventory management and control, shipping and receiving.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Must be well organized with a strong work ethic. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field of Warehouse Management System.
