Job Description
A global law firm in NYC is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development or a related field within professional services, preferably in a law firm environment. Prior experience in working with transactional practices is a plus.
Hybrid schedule: 4-5 days per week onsite to start, with potential transition to 3 days onsite after the probation period
Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Salary: $100K-120K (plus bonus eligibility)
Responsibilities:
- Support partners in preparing targeted presentations, including pitch books, RFP responses, and deal sheets to communicate the Firm’s relevant experience.
- Assist with submissions to league tables, directories, guides, and other surveys.
- Conduct competitive intelligence research and update lawyers on market trends.
- Monitor Firm news and maintain the practice experience database, updating information in the CRM system.
- Proofread, edit, and assemble materials to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Coordinate content for internal and external marketing events in collaboration with the Events department.
- Maintain a record of all pitches, meetings, and outreach within the Firm’s CRM system.
- Update and maintain lawyer biographies across multiple channels, including print and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with Communications and Digital Marketing teams on internal and external communications and social media updates.
- Adhere to information security policies and safeguard firm assets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; JD or Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in a law firm, financial institution, or professional services firm.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
- Ability to handle time-sensitive requests and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
