Job Summary: Revenue Accountant will be responsible for managing and analyzing revenue transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of the energy industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Prepare and review revenue accounting entries and ensure accurate recording of revenue transactions.

·        Analyze and reconcile revenue accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.

·        Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for management and regulatory bodies.

·        Collaborate with the operations and production teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition.

·        Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

·        Assist in the preparation of financial statements and external audits.

·        Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes.

·        Stay updated with industry trends and changes in revenue recognition standards.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.

·        4+ years of experience in the oil and gas/energy industry.

·        Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards.

·        Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Experience with SAP and OGSYS
