Traveling Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Location: East Coast (Travel Required)

A leading general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee projects across the East Coast . This position requires expertise in big box retail, occupied renovations, grocery store construction, and/or cold storage facilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple stakeholders, and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules to meet project milestones.
• Lead site meetings and provide progress updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Mitigate construction challenges and implement problem-solving strategies.
• Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance on active job sites.
• Travel as required to job sites throughout East Coast

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience in big box retail, occupied renovations, grocery store construction, and/or cold storage projects.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to travel extensively for project assignments.
