Job Description

Payroll Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

·        Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.

·        Review payroll data to ensure compliance with company policies and laws.

·        Maintain employee records and confidential payroll information.

·        Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and managers.

·        Prepare payroll reports and analyze data to identify trends or issues.

·        Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate data exchange.

·        Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll regulations and laws.

·        Monitor and manage employee benefit contributions and deductions.

·        Ensure payroll taxes are calculated and paid on time.

Qualifications:

·        High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in accounting or related field preferred.

·        Experience working in payroll, finance, or accounting.

·        Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

·        Excellent communication skills.

·        Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·        Understanding of labor laws, taxes, and employee benefits.
