Scheduler – Construction

We are seeking a Construction Scheduler to join a leading general contractor in Ohio. This individual will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction scheduling, a deep understanding of project sequencing, and experience collaborating with project teams to ensure timely completion of work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure accurate schedule updates.
• Analyze project timelines and identify potential risks or delays, providing proactive solutions.
• Track project progress, resource allocation, and critical path activities.
• Prepare reports and schedule updates for stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Assist in preconstruction planning and schedule development.
• Implement best practices for schedule management, including delay analysis and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably with a general contractor.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project management principles.
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and provide strategic scheduling recommendations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
