Job Description

Title: Benefits Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile benefits invoices to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues.
  • Administer the ADA accommodation process, coordinating with employees and HR leadership.
  • Sort and manage mail from benefits providers and ensure timely responses.
  • Update and correct employee records in Workday to maintain accurate benefits data.
  • Liaise with vendors to provide additional information and support compliance requests.
  • Assist with leave administration, including tracking and employee communications.
  • Process time-off payouts for union employees in compliance with agreements.
  • Manage employees on direct bill, ensuring payments and records are maintained.
  • Support benefits cost reconciliations to verify plan expenditures.
  • Execute benefits transactions in Workday and ensure smooth system operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-3 years of benefits administration experience, preferably with exposure to international benefits.
  • Strong understanding of health plans, leave administration, and employee accommodations.
  • Curious and quick learner, able to adapt to new processes and systems efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in benefits processing.
  • Organized and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Workday experience preferred, but not required.
