Our firm is working on a Plant Controller role at one of our premiere clients. 

Job Title: Plant Controller

Location: New York City

Job Summary: The Plant Controller will be responsible for the financial oversight of multiple plants. This role involves managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations of the two plants, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Cost Control: Implement and monitor cost control measures to optimize plant efficiency and profitability.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and reduce waste.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze plant performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial results and strategies to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
