Finance Manager
The company is a well-established and continuously growing private equity firm in Atlanta, with over $38 billion in assets under management. The firm specializes in investing in consumer and multi‐unit businesses and has acquired 98 franchise/multi‐unit brands to date.

The Finance Manager role is open due to growth and will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and assist in key operations related to the company’s managed private equity funds. The Finance Manager will be expected to apply proper application of accounting principles to complex transactions and work within a team toward timely and accurate production of client deliverables. This role will have high exposure throughout the firm and the Finance Manager will be expected to lead and participate in ad‐hoc projects, including returns modeling and sensitivity analysis.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Review accounting records and oversee the preparation of quarterly financial reporting, including GAAP financial statements and capital account statements
- Provide training, oversight and mentorship to the junior team members
- Analyze all transaction documentation and supporting files; understand the features of each investment
- Review and assist in preparation of capital call and distribution calculations, sources/uses of cash, allocations, and investor notices
- Provide guidance and oversee the production of distribution waterfall (carried interest) models, applying applicable terms from the fund’s governing documents
- Assist in responding to investor queries
- Management of the year‐end audit process
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, providing support to senior leadership

Desired Education Credentials and Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or relevant field
- 4‐7 years of prior private equity or partnership fund accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Experience in Investran a plus
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision‐making skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines; the candidate should be a self‐starter that handles complexity well and identifies potential solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross‐functional teams.
