Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements for various funds, GP entities
- Maintain and generate internal and external reporting packages for all entities
- Oversee capital calls and distributions to investors and cash flows to/from portfolio companies
- Manage and monitor fund daily cash management
- Respond to information requests from investors
- Calculate fund performance metrics
- Calculate new investment allocations and manage the new investment workflow through funding of new deals
- Special projects and analysis as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field
- 2-4 years of work experience in the field of accounting, Venture Capital, Private Equity or other investment firm preferred, previous “Big 4” experience a plus
- Knowledge and experience with investment partnership accounting and GAAP reporting standards
- Experience with Investran preferred
- Very strong Excel skills, Macros a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
- Team player who is self-motivated
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
