Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Management Professional to join our client, focusing on trading data and maintaining the security master file. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability to support trading operations and decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the security master file, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on all securities.
  • Oversee the ingestion, validation, and cleansing of trading data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with trading, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Develop and implement data governance practices to enhance data quality and reliability.
  • Monitor and resolve data-related issues, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform data analysis to support trading strategies and risk management efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, data management, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data management within financial services, preferably related to trading data.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments and Capital Markets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data management tools; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
