Job Description
We are looking for a Credit Risk to join our team in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will assess and manage credit risk, ensuring that lending practices align with regulatory requirements and the organization's risk appetite. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to evaluate the creditworthiness of individuals and organizations.
- Develop and maintain credit risk models to predict potential losses and assess portfolio performance.
- Monitor existing credit exposures and identify trends that may impact credit risk.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key risk metrics and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine credit policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors influencing credit risk.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience covering corporate finance and/or structured products (mainly BSL CLO).
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in credit risk analysis or related roles within financial services.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling.
- A deep understanding of corporate/structured financing (including securitization / asset-backed lending).
