Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Directing and preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports
- Overseeing investment of funds and working with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion
- Preparing financial projections and accounting services, growth plans, and directing staff
- Developing organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, and analysis
- Assisting with recruiting new staff members
- Collaborating with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Chief Marketing Officer (COO) to develop strategic plans
- Analyzing financial reports ways to reduce costs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required
- CPA preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience in accounting and financial management practices
- Experience in a senior management position
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Extensive experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues
