Job Description

Partner Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

·        Manage and oversee the accounting processes related to partner compensation, draws and distributions.

·        Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for partners.

·        Ensure accurate and timely processing of partner payments and reimbursements.

·        Maintain detailed records of partner accounts and transactions.

·        Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm policies.

·        Assist in budgeting and forecasting for partner-related financial activities.

·        Provide financial insights and recommendations to partners and management.

·        Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

·        Address any discrepancies or issues related to partner accounts promptly.

·        Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to partner accounting.

 

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

·        Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting within a law firm or professional service environment.

·        Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·        Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Knowledge of legal accounting practices is a plus.

 

Education:

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
