Job Description

Title: Project Associate – Infrastructure & Facilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support cross-functional teams on infrastructure and facilities projects by conducting research and organizing project materials
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation to support design and planning efforts
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, maintenance staff, and external consultants
  • Attend site visits and team meetings; provide follow-up documentation and insights
  • Maintain well-organized files and ensure documentation aligns with project timelines and deliverables
  • Contribute to planning initiatives and provide logistical or administrative support as required

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Historic Preservation, Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Commercial Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in design, planning, preservation, or project support
  • Strong research and organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate within a team-focused and mission-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with NYC building codes and preservation regulations
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant design tools
  • Exposure to project management systems and collaborative workflows
