Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Verifying assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation
- Developing audit objectives, plans, and scope
- Preparing audit findings, reports, and developing recommendations
- Staying abreast of financial information and its accuracy
- Collaborating with management, shareholders, and board members to share results of audits
- Reviewing financial statements to make sure they comply with GAAP and applicable laws
- Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS)
- 2-4 years' experience in financial accounting and/or auditing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
