Interim Director of Perinatal Services – 13-Week Contract

Job Overview

Experienced labor and delivery leader needed for a 13-week interim assignment directing women's healthcare services at a premier Orange County medical center. This position oversees Labor and Delivery, Couplet Care, Women's Health services, and a Community Level NICU during a critical transition period. You'll maintain clinical excellence while managing operations and ensuring continuous quality improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide interim leadership for Labor & Delivery and maternal-infant service lines
  • Maintain clinical standards and staff development across perinatal units
  • Ensure continuation of evidence-based protocols and quality initiatives
  • Oversee NICU operations, transport program, and high-risk infant follow-up
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with Joint Commission and California Children's Services
  • Collaborate with medical staff on service integration and patient care standards
  • Support ongoing participation in regional perinatal quality collaboratives
