Job Description

Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the firm's payroll processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records. This role involves supervising a dynamic team, interfacing heavily with Human Resources and Benefits, and reporting directly to the CFO and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the payroll process for 400+ employees using ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including salary, bonuses, deductions, and benefits
  • Supervise and mentor the payroll team, providing guidance and support
  • Collaborate closely with Human Resources and Benefits to ensure seamless integration of payroll and employee benefits
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations
  • Prepare and review payroll reports for senior leadership and the CFO
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues
  • Implement and optimize payroll policies and procedures
  • Assist with audits and ensure data integrity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
