A top healthcare network in dynamic Michigan seeks and experienced acute care Infection Control Leader to join their leadership team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Infection Preventionist to grow their career with a thriving health system.

Job Responsibilities

The Manager of Infection Control will be the primary Infection Prevention liaison for the hospital and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical leaders. Key responsibilities include:

·        Lead, develop, and maintain the hospital-wide infection control program.

·        Conduct ongoing surveillance of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and report findings to leadership and public health agencies.

·        Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory bodies.

·        Develop and deliver infection prevention training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff.

·        Collaborate with medical and nursing leadership to implement best practices in infection control.

·        Oversee outbreak investigations and response efforts.

·        Manage infection control audits and risk assessments.

·        Supervise and support infection prevention staff.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal Manager of Infection Control will possess:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or Epidemiology

·        At least 3 years of Infection Control experience in acute care settings

·        Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practices, regulatory practices, and incident reporting
