Job Responsibilities

The Nurse Director of Emergency Room is responsible for leading patient care, staff engagement, and clinical outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

·        Provide strategic and operational leadership to the ER nursing team, Trauma Coordinator, and Emergency Preparedness Team

·        Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices

·        Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

·        Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality of care, and patient satisfaction

·        Oversee staffing, budgeting, and performance management

·        Mentor and develop nursing leaders and frontline staff

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal Nurse Director of Emergency Room will possess:

·        Degree in Nursing

·        At least 2 years of Emergency Room experience, preferably in rural settings

·        Demonstrated expertise in leading evidence-based practices and process improvement initiatives
