Job Description

The Executive Director provides visionary leadership for the overall management and operation of the Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional resident care, innovative memory care programming, and outstanding service in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining fiscal health, nurturing a high-performing team, driving occupancy, and positioning the community as a leader in senior living excellence.
  • Lead, develop, and empower a multidisciplinary team to deliver resident-centered care with an emphasis on innovation, engagement, and quality outcomes.
  • Foster a culture that embraces creativity and best practices in memory care and assisted living.
  • Implement and oversee programs and policies to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Gerontology, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare administration, including at least 2 years in memory care program development and management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Connecticut’s assisted living regulations, dementia care, and person-centered program innovation.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and occupancy strategies.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
