Job Description

Real Estate Investment Analyst – Asset Management

 

Responsibilities:

·        Performance Monitoring & Reporting: You’ll track and evaluate asset-level financial and operational performance, identifying deviations from the business plan and recommending course corrections.

·        Financial & Strategic Planning: Includes budgeting, business plan creation, leasing strategy, and valuation work.

·        Leasing Oversight: You’ll evaluate lease proposals and potentially lead or coordinate parts of the leasing process.

·        Market Analysis: You'll be expected to conduct and interpret market research to inform strategic decisions.

·        Stakeholder Interaction: Frequent communication with joint venture partners and third-party vendors, suggesting the need for strong interpersonal and project management skills.

·        Transaction Involvement: Supporting acquisitions, dispositions, and financing—offering exposure to the full investment lifecycle.

·        Development Oversight: Reviewing construction or development plans and managing financial draws, requiring basic knowledge of real estate development.

 

Qualifications:

·        Experience: 1–3 years in real estate (ideally in acquisitions, asset management, finance, or operations).

·        Modeling Skills: Must be proficient in Excel and ARGUS (commonly used for real estate underwriting and forecasting).

·        Analytical Ability: Strong quantitative skills are emphasized, with a preference for a candidate comfortable making data-driven recommendations.

·        Self-sufficiency: The role seeks someone who can work with minimal oversight.

·        Education: A bachelor’s in business, finance, real estate, or a related field is required.
