Job Description
- 7-10 years of experience ideally from Big 4 (someone that is at least a heavy manager level that has 10-K/Q)—I would also try pub/priv
- comp doesn't seem to be an issue – try and get the candidate’s comp expectations– Targeting around $250k total comp — around $170-200k base; stretch me
- 4 days in the office
- they are 12 people now– and they just acquired a new business which BDC and this is why they are looking for a new Financial Reporting manager
- this person will report to my contact MD Controller
- this person will eventually get a direct report but everyone works together — pretty flat structure– this person will def oversee their 3rd party administrator
- Looking for straight Big4 doing 10-k and q OR someone that came from Big4 with private experience doing 10-k and q
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial theory
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- 7+ years of SEC reporting experience
- Highly proficient in MS Excel
