Physical Therapist

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

• Consult with patients to determine their physical condition and symptoms 
• Review patient medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons 
• Develop an appropriate rehabilitation plan 
• Assist patients in improving mobility through therapeutic exercises and stretches 
• Utilize physical therapy equipment and teach patients how to use them 
• Use hands-on therapy such as massage to alleviate pain and promote healing 
• Coach patients on their recovery plan post-discharge 
• Maintain patients' records and progress 
• Keep a safe and clean working environment 
• Advise patients and families of in-home treatment options 

Qualifications: 

• A Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy required 
• Physical Therapist's state license required 
• Clinical experience preferred 
• Ability to manage patients in different conditions 
• Knowledge of treatment practices 
• Excellent interpersonal skills
