Job Description

Title: Benefits Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related onboarding, including in-depth employee education and Q&A
  • Administer and maintain benefit programs across health & welfare, retirement plans, and LOA
  • Support international benefits administration as needed
  • Process benefit transactions and data updates with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform data analysis and reporting using Excel (must be advanced level)
  • Utilize v-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas to validate and track data
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support open enrollment and other annual benefits processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and vendors
  • Use Workday to review, track, and manage employee benefit records (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits or HR generalist roles with a benefits focus
  • Demonstrated expertise in Excel — must be able to build and apply formulas, v-lookups, and manage large data sets (testing required)
  • In-depth experience administering LOA, health & welfare, and retirement programs
  • Familiarity with international benefits administration is a plus
  • Experience with Workday is preferred but not required
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain benefits clearly and comfortably during onboarding
  • Professional, collaborative, and highly detail-oriented
