Superintendent – Commercial Construction | Columbus, OH

An established and reputable commercial general contractor in the Columbus, Ohio market is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to lead field operations on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, working with a company known for quality, collaboration, and strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will bring a proactive leadership style, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to drive schedules while maintaining a safe and efficient jobsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and jobsite logistics.
• Enforce and uphold all safety regulations, ensuring OSHA compliance across the site.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Lead site meetings and provide timely issue resolution to keep projects on track.
• Monitor project progress, maintain daily logs, and assist in schedule updates.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of managing multiple trades.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety practices.
• Experience using project management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar.
• OSHA 30 certification
