Job Description

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

  • Responsible for supporting the accounting/finance team with day-to-day responsibilities, quarter-end close of the financial statements, and analytical reporting 
  • This individual will have an opportunity to learn and grow within the company 
  • Use QuickBooks to perform accounting functions (A/P, A/R, etc.) 
  • Employee expense tracking, reporting, and processing 
  • Participating in process improvements and one-off special projects as needed 
  • Available to aid throughout the accounting organization as needed 
  • Assist with both accounts payable and receivable 
  • Participate in cash management and its related reporting processes 
  • Research and resolve account reconciling items 
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures 
  • Assist with general ledger maintenance. 
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with corporate timelines 
  • Assist with internal reporting and ad-hoc report requests 
  • Assist with the year-end audit and tax filings 
  • Assist with other ad hoc projects 
  • Support other team members as necessary 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance 
  • Internship or professional accounting experience 
  • Ability and willingness to keep maintain confidentiality 
  • Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
