Job Description
We are seeking a driven and energetic sales professional to generate new business by engaging with healthcare practices and other relevant industries. This role involves building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing sales in a fast-paced environment. Candidates who thrive in outbound sales settings, particularly those comfortable with cold-calling and frequent in-person visits, will excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate and qualify leads through on-site visits, cold calls, and phone outreach
- Identify and research prospective clients to develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets
- Develop client relationships, deliver sales presentations, and provide product demonstrations
- Maintain and organize lead data using a customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Plan and execute weekly sales activities with a structured schedule of outreach
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and professional associations to build networks and generate leads
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including service personnel and internal sales channels
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect and client interactions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing sales strategy discussions
- Follow a structured sales process to ensure consistent execution
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in business-to-business, outside, or field sales
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong presentation skills, particularly in professional or medical office settings
- Experience in the healthcare or medical industry is a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing sales, even with challenging prospects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience managing a sales territory and achieving regional performance targets
- Familiarity with leveraging social media platforms for prospecting and outreach
