Job Description

Position: Senior Associate, Investor Services & Relations (Private Markets)

Overview:

A private investment firm with a long-standing track record in middle-market investments seeks a Senior Associate to join its Investor Relations and Fundraising team. The firm manages a global portfolio of private equity and flexible capital investments and is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Role Summary:

This role involves supporting fund closings, investor onboarding, compliance documentation, and day-to-day investor service operations. It requires close coordination with internal departments and external partners, such as fund administrators, legal counsel, and high-net-worth investors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Closings and Setup:

  • Coordinate the subscription and onboarding process across stakeholders.
  • Manage document flow, data accuracy, and investor communication.
  • Ensure compliance and legal documents are processed correctly.

Investor Operations & Compliance:

  • Maintain the investor portal, including access rights and data integrity.
  • Support tax form collection, fund certifications, and compliance notifications.
  • Oversee investor data updates, including bank and wire instructions.

Client Support:

  • Serve as a trusted liaison for investor inquiries.
  • Respond to requests related to distributions, capital calls, and audit confirmations.
  • Support CRM management and assist with investor events and communications.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in financial services, ideally in investor relations or client services.
  • Strong understanding of private markets, fund structures, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong ethics, and a collaborative mindset.

Location:

  • Hybrid role based in Cleveland Ohio

  • Senior team member within Fundraising & Investor Relations.
