Emergency Department Overview
The Emergency Department serves as a vital access point for patients of all ages requiring immediate medical care. This high-acuity, fast-paced environment addresses a broad range of medical needs—from minor injuries to critical emergencies. Operating 24/7, the ED team includes emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, nurses, respiratory therapists, and support staff, all collaborating to ensure timely and effective patient care. The department emphasizes rapid evaluation, stabilization, and treatment for both adult and pediatric emergencies.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing — Required
- Master’s Degree — Preferred
Licenses:
- Registered Nurse (State of California) — Required
Certifications:
- CPR — Required
- BLS — Required
- ACLS — Required
- PALS — Required
