Job Description

Title:  Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager 

Location: New York – Remote (EST or CST time zones)

POSITION OVERVIEW 

Green Key Resources is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing national recruiting division specializing in Pharma. This is an excellent business development opportunity to network with the top professionals in the industry and build closing skills. This is a highly successful team who is looking for a sales leader who is ambitious and eager to make an impact. The ideal candidate is self-starting, financially motivated, and has strong communication and negotiation skills. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Grow client base of Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, and CRO companies and develop strong relationships with those clients.  
  • Market our full-time placement services to new and existing clients.  
  • Build quality relationships with key decision makers/hiring managers within targeted accounts. 
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and meeting with prospective and existing clients. 
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing. 
  • Negotiate sales agreements with clients and provide professional after-sales support to ensure a long-term partnership. 
  • Work with the recruiting team to identify top talent and find qualified candidates in your market that fit client needs. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients by ensuring their hiring needs are met.  
  • Look for growth opportunities and implement ideas and strategies to contribute to the overall success of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • BA/BS Degree in Pharmaceuticals, Biomedical engineering, or related field 
  • 6+ years of staffing business development/business to business sales experience and/or 1+ years of pharma experience 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills  
  • An ambitious and competitive spirit 
  • Proven success working in a results-oriented environment
