Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Engineer to become a key contributor to our software engineering team. Your mission will be to support the development and optimization of a high-capacity data warehouse that fuels analytics and decision-making across the organization. You’ll work with modern data technologies to help our customers unlock actionable insights from complex datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and maintain a large-scale data warehouse supporting multiple departments and regions.
- Collaborate on project scoping, timelines, and progress updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and support requests.
- Oversee data integrity and implement quality assurance processes.
- Build and manage ELT/ETL workflows and data transformation routines.
- Develop stored procedures, functions, and custom reports.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in data engineering and analytics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Snowflake or a comparable data warehousing platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with SQL and procedural programming.
- Strong grasp of data modeling, warehousing principles, and analytics.
- Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards using tools like SSRS or similar.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with data replication strategies.
- Experience building ETL processes using stored procedures.
- Exposure to JavaScript development.
- Background in machine learning or predictive analytics is a plus.
