Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
  • Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and investigate security breaches.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security compliance.
  • Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Prepare and present reports on security incidents and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Security Engineer or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and security frameworks.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
