Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

A highly respected and employee-owned commercial contractor in the Indianapolis area is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, ground-up builds ranging from $25M to $50M+. This leadership role offers the chance to drive high-profile projects from preconstruction through closeout, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with a highly experienced team in a culture built on quality, innovation, and long-term impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead full-cycle commercial construction projects ranging from $25M to $50M+
• Coordinate contracts, budgets, schedules, and project plans alongside the Project Executive
• Engage directly with clients, internal stakeholders, and field teams to ensure successful delivery
• Oversee procurement, schedule development, change order processing, and subcontractor execution
• Maintain up-to-date project budgets and schedules, reporting bi-weekly and weekly respectively
• Facilitate hand-off and progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with testing/inspections, quality benchmarks, and closeout documentation
• Serve as a mentor to project staff while actively participating in business operations and profitability tracking

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
• Proficient in Procore, SmartSheets, and BlueBeam
• Proven success in leading $25M+ projects from conception to completion
