Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a 40-person team, ensuring accuracy across hourly pay, tips, and timekeeping
  • Serve as the go-to HR resource for the team, handling employee relations, performance documentation, and workplace matters with discretion and clarity
  • Maintain personnel files, onboarding/offboarding documentation, and compliance records (I-9s, certifications, etc.)
  • Manage recruitment workflows, including job postings, interviews, and background checks
  • Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries related to time off, scheduling, and workplace policies
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with city, state, and federal labor regulations
  • Track and resolve scheduling, timesheet, or payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare reports and support occasional ad hoc initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of HR and payroll experience within hospitality, restaurant, or food service environments
  • Familiarity with systems such as ADP and Toast is required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Comfortable working in a small office and reporting to a remote executive leader
