Nurse Manager

An established healthcare facility in Savannah, Georgia is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead its Mother Baby Unit, which includes 25 private postpartum rooms dedicated to providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns.

This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic RN with a passion for maternal-child health, proven management skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive, patient-centered environment. The Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations, guide a team of skilled nursing professionals, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for postpartum patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Mother Baby Unit
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional development and excellence in care
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate patient care activities to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact license)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in maternal-child nursing
• At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting
• Strong communication, team-building, and organizational skills
