Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in the commercial, big box retail, and light industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Lead project teams including subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and architects.
  • Oversee site safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and all relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to plans/specs.
  • Prepare and review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to manage expectations and resolve issues.
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and financial targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of project management experience in commercial, big box retail, and/or light industrial construction.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Working Conditions:
