Job Description

Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycles, aligning closely with senior management to ensure timely and accurate projections.
  • Perform comprehensive variance analysis on key financial metrics and trends to identify underlying business drivers.
  • Collaborate with accounting, supply chain, and other operational groups to consolidate insights and ensure accurate data reporting.
  • Create executive-ready dashboards and presentations that communicate performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Support the development and tracking of KPIs across business units; refine financial models to improve long-term strategic planning.
  • Conduct scenario modeling and financial evaluation of operational strategies or investments.
  • Deliver insightful reporting to regional and functional leaders, helping inform decisions around cost management and resource allocation.
  • Monitor economic and industry indicators to assess potential impact on business performance and forecasts.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts around planning tools and financial systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, with a strong foundation in budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Prior exposure to cross-departmental projects and inter-team collaboration (especially with accounting or supply chain).
  • Highly skilled in building financial models, analyzing trends, and presenting insights to leadership.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities; familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor financial insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Background in manufacturing or distribution is preferred but not required.
