Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on projects including government buildings, courthouses, public safety facilities, and a variety of commercial developments. The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings deep experience managing ground-up and renovation projects in the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day onsite construction operations
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and look-ahead plans
  • Conduct regular site meetings and daily reports
  • Ensure adherence to building codes and jurisdictional requirements, particularly in municipal and justice facilities

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a strong portfolio of municipal, justice, and commercial projects
  • Proven track record delivering complex, high-visibility public sector jobs
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling software, and safety protocols
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Local experience in Central Ohio strongly preferred
