Job Title: Temporary Cyber IA Manager – Regulatory Compliance & Infrastructure Assurance

Location: New York City (Hybrid – Onsite 3 Days/Week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Cyber Information Assurance (Cyber IA) Manager to lead regulatory compliance, cybersecurity validation, and infrastructure assurance initiatives for a global technology and risk environment. This role requires a US-based professional who can be onsite in New York City three days per week. The manager will oversee implementation review of the UK’s DORA regulation, lead IT backup resilience efforts, and manage issue validation testing across cloud, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Cyber IA efforts to ensure operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and control assurance across global IT environments
  • Manage the DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) implementation review process for UK-regulated application vendors
  • Oversee the design and execution of a global IT backups program, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity, data protection, and business continuity requirements
  • Direct issue validation testing across cloud platforms, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity controls, ensuring accurate remediation and audit readiness
  • Act as a senior liaison to global stakeholders, risk committees, and technical teams
  • Deliver reporting and risk summaries for leadership and regulatory oversight

Ÿ Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or IT Risk, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks such as DORA, NIST, ISO 27001, FFIEC, or similar
  • Expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data backup/recovery solutions
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and executive communication skills
  • Must be based in the United States and able to work onsite in New York City three days per week
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA
