We’re partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Fort Worth, TX to identify a skilled Nurse Manager of Surgical Services. ⚙️ The Role You’ll Lead

As Nurse Manager of Surgical Services, you’ll oversee the daily operations of a busy, high-acuity Operating Room, leading a dedicated surgical nursing team. You'll collaborate with educators, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and evidence-based perioperative care.

Key responsibilities include:

Oversight of nursing care for surgical patients across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op

Collaboration with OR educators to support staff training and development

Implementation of department-specific goals, protocols, and quality initiatives

Policy development, staffing, budgeting, and compliance

Acting as liaison between nursing staff, administration, and medical teams

Participation in leadership meetings and hospital-wide initiatives

Supporting the development and evaluation of departmental performance

✅ Qualifications We’re Seeking

🏥 2+ years of acute care leadership experience in the Operating Room

💼 5+ years of RN staff-level OR experience

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

🩺 Current RN license in Texas or compact state

❤️ BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross)

🏅 CNOR preferred

🔍 Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and grow surgical teams while maintaining a patient-centered culture
