Job Description
Title: FP&A Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of company-wide financial planning processes, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range strategic plans.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business performance, scenario planning, and capital allocation.
- Partner with department heads and senior leadership to assess financial results and support operational decision-making.
- Create and present high-quality executive-level presentations and reports that provide actionable insights.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to guide resource allocation and identify growth opportunities.
- Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and other financial data to inform strategic recommendations.
- Ensure alignment of planning and reporting activities with regulatory expectations and best practices.
- Support the CFO in board-level reporting and special projects, often requiring fast turnaround and high attention to detail.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of FP&A experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or high-autonomy role.
- Strong background in private equity or private equity-backed environments is essential.
- Experience reporting to or supporting C-level executives; prior experience as a CFO a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline required; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred.
- Mastery of Excel and advanced financial modeling; experience with FP&A platforms like Adaptive Insights or Certinia preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into strategic business recommendations.
- High professional standards, ability to work long hours when needed, and a resilient attitude toward pressure and scrutiny.
