Position Summary:
We’re seeking a Project Manager with strong ground-up construction experience to oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. You'll manage subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and client relationships—ensuring high-quality results, delivered on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction through completion
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and logistics plans
- Oversee subcontractor bidding, selection, contracts, and coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor progress and proactively resolve issues related to cost, scope, and schedule
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contract requirements
- Track project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Support project close-out, punch list, and client turnover process
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a focus on ground-up projects
- Proven ability to lead multi-million dollar jobs from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and industry best practices
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
