A leading design/build firm based in Atlanta, GA is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. The firm is known for its integrated approach to design and construction, commitment to quality, and strong client relationships throughout the Southeast.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from concept through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, initiate, and oversee commercial design/build projects throughout all phases.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Manage permitting processes, inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Identify and resolve project issues and risks proactively.
- Prepare and deliver regular project updates to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction or design/build projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering commercial or industrial projects.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- PMP certification is a plus.
