Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Develops and maintains models related to overall business performance and forecast, as well as specific business needs 
  • Supports the development of our annual financial plan (e.g., scenario analysis, top and bottom-line trending, FX impact) and produces materials to update Senior Leadership on progress 
  • Assists in completion and development of monthly forecast, providing variance analysis of forecast to annual plan as well as prior forecasts 
  • Assist in developing finance and business presentations, and related supporting materials 
  • Partner closely and regularly with both business and support teams to track business performance, exercise expenditure and investment controls, and identify risks and opportunities to our financial outlook 
  • Manage and deliver on operational and analytical processes connected to each accounting period close, including variance analysis, management reporting, and/or model recalibrations as necessary 
  • Use your communication and storytelling skills to frame issues effectively and translate the outputs of your financial analysis into impactful insights and compelling business recommendations 
  • Support financial and operational analysis for our Digital business platform 
  • Delivers ad hoc analytics to provide actionable information for corrective and/or business planning purposes to Finance leaders. Maintains a strong focus on aiding Business Leaders in making value-enhancing business decisions 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or relevant field. 
  • 3+years of relevant, applied experience in finance/accounting (exposure to manufacturing is preferred). 
  • Strong grasp of the 3 financial statements, with a high aptitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving through quantitative modeling and analysis 
  • Experience forming relationships across all levels of an organization and comfortable presenting to a broad range of audiences 
  • Strong analytical and research skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills 
  • Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint 
  • Experience with consolidation systems and BI tools, a plus
