Job Description

Our client in the Education space is seeking an EA to support a c-level executive on a temp-to-perm basis. Hourly salary is $30-35/hr.

Opportunity to work on a hybrid basis (3 days on-site) in the Manhattan office.

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support a C-level executive in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. This role blends executive support, data entry, and administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Support: Manage complex calendars, travel arrangements, expense reporting, meeting logistics, and task tracking. Handle communications with professionalism and discretion.
  • Gift Processing: Accurately process donations across multiple platforms, generate timely donor receipts, manage pledge reminders, and maintain related documentation and templates.
  • Data & Document Management: Perform accurate data entry and updates; manage shared files, reports, and templates; support ad hoc reporting and queries.
  • Project & Event Support: Assist with event coordination and department-wide projects, occasionally during evenings or weekends.
  • Team Coordination: Triage incoming communications, support department operations, and provide administrative assistance across the team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative or operations experience, ideally in a nonprofit or donor-facing environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working with databases or CRM systems
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
